parts of the boiler

✏️PARTS OF A BOILER

๐Ÿ‘‰An evaporator converts water to steam and is located in the radiation zone where the maximum high temperature gas is available.
๐Ÿ‘‰Steam formed in the evaporator is further heated up in a super heater.
๐Ÿ‘‰The temperature of steam is increased from dry saturated to superheated state in a superheater.
๐Ÿ‘‰The remaining energy of the flue gas is utilized in an economizer to heat water. It increases the efficiency of a boiler.
๐Ÿ‘‰A burner combines fuel and air for combustion, combining more than one fuel in case of multifuel fired boilers.
๐Ÿ‘‰Boiler blow down system removes specific amount of water in order to maintain total dissolved solids in the boiler.
๐Ÿ‘‰Water is transferred from the dc  aerator to the boiler through feedwater pump.
๐Ÿ‘‰The return hot water from the condenser is collected in a collecting tank/hot well.
๐Ÿ‘‰Oxygen present in the water will be liberated at higher temperatures and is highly corrosive.
๐Ÿ‘‰The dc aerator removes this dissolved oxygen from water
