👉An evaporator converts water to steam and is located in the radiation zone where the maximum high temperature gas is available.
👉Steam formed in the evaporator is further heated up in a super heater.
👉The temperature of steam is increased from dry saturated to superheated state in a superheater.
👉The remaining energy of the flue gas is utilized in an economizer to heat water. It increases the efficiency of a boiler.
👉A burner combines fuel and air for combustion, combining more than one fuel in case of multifuel fired boilers.
👉Boiler blow down system removes specific amount of water in order to maintain total dissolved solids in the boiler.
👉Water is transferred from the dc aerator to the boiler through feedwater pump.
👉The return hot water from the condenser is collected in a collecting tank/hot well.
👉Oxygen present in the water will be liberated at higher temperatures and is highly corrosive.
👉The dc aerator removes this dissolved oxygen from water
