Generally in this solar park flat panel photo voltaic cells are used. ๐Actual location of the Bhadla solar park๐ ⚡Bhadla is a sandy, dry and arid region with an area of about 45 km2. located in the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan. Bhadla is about 200 km north of Jodhpur and about 320 km west of Jaipur. The region has been described as "almost unlivable" due its climate. Average temperatures in Bhadla hover between 46 and 48 degrees Celsius. Hot winds and sand storms occur frequently. The closest habitation to Bhadla is the village of Bap, located about 50 km away, and the closest urban area - a tehsil town called Phalodi - is 80 km away. ๐๐AUCTIONS OF BHADLA SOLAR PARK CONSISTS OF DIFFERENT PHASES AND ALL THESE PHASES ARE MENTIONED BELOW๐๐ ๐Phase I⚡In the first phase, the NTPC auctioned 420 MW of capacity split into 6 packages of 70 MW each.finish company Fortum quoted the lowest tariff of INR 4.34 / kWh. Rising Sun Energy Pvt Ltd and Solairedirect won 2 packages each quoting a price of INR 4.35 / kWh. Yarrow Infrastructure won the remaining package quoting a price of INR 4.36 / kWh. ⚡In December 2016, Solairedirect signed an agreement with Ecoppia, a PV panel cleaning solutions developer, to provide automated cleaning solutions to the project. Due to the park's location in a desert region, it is prone to dust storms.Solairedirect secured a loan of 675 crore from IDBI Bank in February 2017 to help finance the project. ๐ABOUT SOLAIREDIRECT: ⚡Solairedirect is a global renewable energy company focused on solar power. Headquartered in Paris, the company is the main solar power producer in France and has also international operations in the US, Chile, India and South Africa. In develops, builds, owns, and operates solar power plants. The company announced its acquisition by Engie in July 2015 after it had pulled out of its IPO process the company had announced in April 2015. ⚡Its business consists mainly in the development and commissioning of solar parks projects (land identification, sourcing of solar panels and plant equipment, sourcing of civil works, connection to the local electricity grid) and in managing and maintaining those parks, including on behalf of third parties investors the company sells its solar parks to. In march 2015, the company, advised by Conquest advisory, sold two solar parks in South West France.Later in the same year, it was awarded a licence for the construction of 48 MW in Chile, after having acquired 72MW in May in the country, and won a bid for 54 MW in Punjab, India. ๐Phase II⚡SECI(SOLAR ENERGY CORPORATION OF INDIA) auctioned 250 MW capacity in the second phase for which 27 firms submitted bids. ๐Phase III⚡SECI auctioned 1000 MW capacity in the third phase on 11 May 2017. ⚡SECI also actioned 800 MW for tariff of Rs 2.44 per kWh. Softbank has been awarded 500 MW & ACME 200 MW. ACME commissioned the 200 MW capacity in September 2018.HFE commissioned the 100 MW capacity in November 2019. Entire 200 MW capacity is expected to be commissioned by Jan 2020. ๐ABOUT ACME: ๐The ACME Group is one of the India’s fastest growing companies in solar energy sector. ACME provides innovative green energy and energy management solutions for Telecom Passive Infrastructure and is one of the largest Solar Power developer with cumulative capacity of more than 5500+ MWp Solar Photovoltaic Power Projects across the country.๐Phase IV๐SECI auctioned 250 MW capacity in the fourth phase on 9 May 2017. ๐South Africa's Phelan Energy Group and Avaada Power were awarded 50 MW and 100 MW of capacity respectively. Their bids of ₹2.62 per kilowatt hour were the lowest tariffs for any solar power project in India. It was also lower than NTPC's average coal power tariff of ₹3.20 per kilowatt hour. SBG Cleantech, a consortium of Softbank Group, Airtel and Foxconn, was awarded the remaining 100 MW capacity at a rate of ₹2.63 per kWh. ๐SECI tendered bids for the remaining 750 MW capacity in June 2017.In this way entire solar park will be completed by December 2018 and with 2055 MW installed capacity, it will be the one of the world's largest solar park. ๐ABOUT SOFTBANK:It is a Japanese multi-national company that conglomerate holding company. According to media reports, the entire 750 MW capacity was auctioned in December 2017 and the projects are scheduled to be completed by February 2019. |
I generally created this blog to explain about all things, equipment, phenomena in the electrical world. Therefore I also decided to write about my experience and knowledge in describing about the power plants and other electrical items in a simplified manner or in a readable manner. You could also find out my growth from my first topic till my up to date topic as how I have tried to brought the interesting topics that everyone would be eager to learn and read.

BHADLA SOLAR PARK RAJASTHAN, INDIA
๐BHADLA SOLAR PARK RAJASTHAN, INDIA๐
๐๐INTRODUCTION
⚡In my previous blog i explained about pavagada solar park in tumkur, Karnataka which has a total generating capacity of 2050MW and now I'm going to give you some brief information on another world largest solar park that is the Bhadla solar park in rajasthan. Bhadla solar park has a generating capacity of 2245MW that is about 195MW more power than the pavagada solar park, which makes this the world's largest solar park. When we compare Bhadla solar park, it is open for the entire duration of 24 hours where's the pavagada solar park does not operate on full 24 hours but it has got some timing restrictions.
๐๐EXPLANATION ON BHADLA SOLAR PARK
⚡Bhadla Solar Park is the world largest solar park as of March 2020 located in India which is spread over a total area of 10,000 acres (40 km2) in Bhadla, Phalodi tehsil, Jodhpur District , Rajasthan, india. The park has total capacity of 2,245 MW.The park has witnessed one of the lowest bids for tariff of Rs 2.44 per kWh, which is lowest for solar in India so far.In September 2018 Acme Solar announced that it had commissioned India's cheapest solar power, 200MW at Bhadla.the Bhadla solar park is established on 20th March 2020.the coordinates of the plant are
