BHADLA SOLAR PARK RAJASTHAN, INDIA

๐ŸŒžBHADLA SOLAR PARK RAJASTHAN, INDIA๐ŸŒž

๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ”ŽINTRODUCTION
⚡In my previous blog i explained about pavagada solar park in tumkur, Karnataka which has a total generating capacity of 2050MW and now I'm going to give you some brief information on another world largest solar park that is the Bhadla solar park in rajasthan. Bhadla solar park has a generating capacity of 2245MW that is about 195MW more power than the pavagada solar park, which makes this the world's largest solar park. When we compare Bhadla solar park, it is open for the entire duration of 24 hours where's the pavagada solar park does not operate on full 24 hours but it has got some timing restrictions.

๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ”ŽEXPLANATION ON BHADLA SOLAR PARK

⚡Bhadla Solar Park is the world largest solar park as of March 2020 located in India which is spread over a total area of 10,000 acres (40 km2) in Bhadla, Phalodi tehsil, Jodhpur District , Rajasthan, india. The park has total capacity of 2,245 MW.The park has witnessed one of the lowest bids for tariff of Rs 2.44 per kWh, which is lowest for solar in India so far.In September 2018 Acme Solar announced that it had commissioned India's cheapest solar power, 200MW at Bhadla.the Bhadla solar park is established on 20th March 2020.the coordinates of the plant are
27.5396685°N 71.9152528°E. Generally in this solar park flat panel photo voltaic cells are used.

๐ŸŒžActual location of the Bhadla solar park๐ŸŒž

⚡Bhadla is a sandy, dry and arid region with an area of about 45 km2. located in the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan. Bhadla is about 200 km north of Jodhpur and about 320 km west of Jaipur. The region has been described as "almost unlivable" due its climate. Average temperatures in Bhadla hover between 46 and 48 degrees Celsius. Hot winds and sand storms occur frequently. The closest habitation to Bhadla is the village of Bap, located about 50 km away, and the closest urban area - a tehsil town called Phalodi - is 80 km away.

๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒAUCTIONS OF BHADLA SOLAR PARK CONSISTS OF DIFFERENT PHASES AND ALL THESE PHASES ARE MENTIONED BELOW๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒ

๐Ÿ‘‰Phase I

⚡In the first phase, the NTPC auctioned 420 MW of capacity split into 6 packages of 70 MW each.finish company Fortum quoted the lowest tariff of INR 4.34 / kWh. Rising Sun Energy Pvt Ltd and Solairedirect won 2 packages each quoting a price of INR 4.35 / kWh. Yarrow Infrastructure won the remaining package quoting a price of INR 4.36 / kWh.

⚡In December 2016, Solairedirect signed an agreement with Ecoppia, a PV panel cleaning solutions developer, to provide automated cleaning solutions to the project. Due to the park's location in a desert region, it is prone to dust storms.Solairedirect secured a loan of 675 crore from IDBI Bank in February 2017 to help finance the project.

๐Ÿ”ŽABOUT SOLAIREDIRECT:
