🌠⚡ MY EXPERIENCE ON FIRST DAY OF MY INTERNSHIP IN TRANSFORMER SALES AND SERVICE COMPANY ⚡🌠
⚡today I like to share about my experience on my first day of my internship in Transformer sales and service company in Mukka Mangalore. since it was my first day I learnt about the basic things in transformer repairing.
👆DRY TYPE TRANSFORMER 👆
⚡ generally there are two types of transformer that is dry type transformer and then oil filled transformer.dry type transformer is generally used in the indoor where as oil Transformer Raj general used outdoors. bilkul generally find the dry type transformer in the indoor of the building and the size requirement of the dry type transformer is very little compared to that of the oil field transformer as well as the transformer is not heavy as compared to that of the oil field transformer but there are also some disadvantage in the dry type transformer like it is a less efficient, request more maintenance and it also provides a lesser efficiency when compared to that of the oil filled Transformers. but the size of the dry type transformer is small compared to that of the oil field Transformer which makes in reliant to keep in IT inside the building etc. in the date of Transformers is the oil is not present it is generally works on the basis of air circulation that is generally by means of the atmospheric air where is in the oil filled Transformer oil is used to cool the Transformer. in the oil field Transformer it can have the capacity to take the oil of some 360 litres of oil is General required in the all feel Transformers and the petroleum companies like HP petroleum that is Hindustan Petroleum companies by means of this company's the oil is generally transported and is distributed to the Transformer repairing and maintenance company. there is also special kind of wall which is generally called as Transformer oil which is generally used in the oil filled Transformers. the Transformer oil is nothing but the also like the vegetable oil the Mineral oil can be used in oil type transformer. and in the oil type transformer 10 applied the oil it can last up to 7 years and in the majority of the stations they will not replace the oil even after the period of 7 years. the oil used in a transformer can be reused by means of the filtration process Sudhar the wastage of the all can be minimised. at the end of the oil tanker fish generally observe we could find the small device which is generally called as Silica Gel breather aur we can call it as a small geyser. the purpose of using the Silica Gel breather is it absorbs the moisture that is generally present in the air before letting into the Transformer at the first stage the colour of the silica will be generated and then it turns into blue and then at last he turns into pink and finally after several years it will generally turn into white and then the Silica Gel care cannot be used this is a similar as that small packet of Silica Gel that will be generally used in the products in generally in order to absorb the water moisture.

⚡ but really the transformer companies will generally replaced the Silica Gel breather because the cost of silica is very much that is approximately rupees thousand per kg for the high quality of Silica and there are different qualities of silica available. Vikraal so observe the oil indicator level get is generally called as conservation oil gauge by means of this because generally get an idea as to what level the oil has to be filled in a oil filled transformer.

⚡ if you generally take any Transformer the testing plays a vital role. and totally 18 types of test are generally performed in the Transformers. we can classify this test as high voltage test and low voltage test.

✏️winding resistance test
✏️insulation resistance test
✏️magnetic balance test
✏️vector group test
🔎HV TEST (HIGH-VOLTAGE TEST)
✏️separate source voltage test
✏️no load test open circuit test
✏️load test for short circuit test
✏️double voltage test or induced overvoltage test
✏️heat run Test
✏️impulse test partial discharge test
⚡ out of this only some tests are generally done in a transformer company and if it is a very much larger company then all the test will be generally performed in the Transformer.
⚡in a transformer we can find either the three orders for terminal if it is a three-terminal then it generally made the delta connection and if it is a photo I am really general image that it is a star connection. and the various problems that can occur in the Transformer are either it may be resting or winding burning problem or when we need to replace the windings, terminal problem, efficiency problem and more.

⚡we can also observe the tap changing mechanism in the Transformer. generally there may be either 5 or 7 times in a transformer. the tabs are generally numbered as 1 2 3 4 5 6 and 7. if I generally consider the tampon as 11000 volts, then at tap 2 the voltage reduces as 10500 and at tap3 it may be 10450 Ana soon. from this we generally understand that as we increase the tap the voltage get decreased depending on the requirement of the line we will generally adjust that happening mechanism.

⚡I have also learnt that for the just insulation of the copper wire, the news nation used is the called as paper covered insulation is generally used to protect from the heat and also for the long life. and this paper cover the insulation is generally used to connect all the terminals of the copper wires. if you go through tahroli in any of the transformer repairing company then we could find any instruments there like open circuit and short circuit test bench metre, clapping metre, digital insulation 3 phase tester, core stacking machine, high heat machine and generator etc.
⚡similarly in any other iron materials at the first stage we will general use a blade in order to remove the rusted paint advance this job is done we will watch the Transformer with the soap water and later with the clean water and then we will allow it to dry for sometime. later we will apply zinc phosphate that is generally used to protect the iron from the Rust and finally the paint is applied. as I have mentioned earlier that we are using Silica Gel breather in the oil filled Transformer, about 500 grams of silica is generally used in the breather. and we can observe a small nozzle like hole in a breather which is generally fixed to the oil tank by means of the nut and screw arrangement. this above-mentioned things I have general learnt in my first day of my internship in the Transformer sales and Company Limited and I'm also excited to practically do all the testing methods in the Transformers and I would I am also keen to compare the practical value with the theoretical value and learn a lot of things in a period of 1 month.
